RECTOR Search

We are looking for the ninth rector of our multi-cultural and vibrant community of faith. We seek to welcome an inspiring and active leader who will:

• Shepherd and challenge us on our spiritual journey for witness and service;

• Celebrate our diversity and foster a greater sense of community;

• Lead the growth of church membership and participation, help attract and retain both temporary and permanent residents, and welcome visitors to the Philippines;

• Develop and grow fellowship opportunities and new initiatives to support our mission;

• Expand awareness of our church and its participation in the community and the Diocese, in living out the Five Marks of Mission;

• Exercise ecclesiastical authority in the parish, with responsibility for worship, pastoral care, Christian education and ecumenical engagement;

• Oversee all facets of parish administration;

• Supervise, support and develop all parish staff.

Qualifications:

• Ordained priest in the Anglican Communion and certified by the Bishop to be in good standing;

• Substantial prior experience in a church of our size and complexity;

• Excellent communication skills and ability to adjust tone and message for disparate members of a broad community;

• Proven people leadership skills; 

• A collaborative style and commitment to cultivating and developing lay leadership;

• A demonstrated record of sound and focused fiscal leadership;   

• Experience in overseeing church properties and assets of some complexity;

• The ability to deliver engaging, thought provoking and spiritually focused sermons;

• A strong commitment to diversity of all kinds.

Compensation package includes housing in an adjoining rectory, located in an exclusive community between the Makati Central Business District and Bonifacio Global City, use of a parish vehicle (with driver if desired), possible assistance for children’s education, medical, etc.  Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications.
